Renovated Bowling Alley reopens in Hull

Friends and families looking for a good night in Hull can rejoice as Hollywood Bowl in Kingswood reopened yesterday. Partygoers were greeted by a red carpet ceremony and Marilyn Monroe before getting to see the new building.

Hollywood Bowl closed all of its outlets across the entire UK during the pandemic due to government guidelines in 2020 and began investing into renovating many of their older locations soon after. Kingswood has been treated to 26 newly computerized lanes that allow players to put in custom names and photos, 4 VIP lanes which include "VIP ropes, sumptuous red velvet curtains and VIP walls with a storage area for your belongings and are overlooked by a Hollywood icon from Marilyn Monroe to Han Solo. There is also a totally revamped food and drink menu at the Hollywood Diner and Bar including all sorts of iconic American food and drink such as burgers, milkshakes, and hotdogs. The alleys have been treated to new lighting, illuminating the pins in a way that truly emphasizes the Hollywood aesthetic that covers the entire interior, reaching over to the arcade.

The arcade has also been treated to a variety of new games including three new air hockey tables.

Hull has a variety of bowling alleys throughout the city, however with these updates the Hollywood Bowl in Kingswood Retail Park presents substantial potential competition with Princes Quay's Superbowl for anyone willing to travel a bit out of city centre.

Lets go bowling sometime!
