LEGO Exhibit Opens in Hull Ferens Art Gallery

The people of Hull can enjoy an exhibit based on everyone's favorite building toys this weekend. As of today, May 28th tourists and locals alike can enjoy a free LEGO based touring exhibition titled "Brick By Brick" at the Hull Ferens Art Gallery on Queen Victoria Square, just next to the Primark at Princes Quay.

The exhibit promises to

"bring together work by international artists, designers and photographers who use LEGO® bricks as their medium or inspiration. The exhibition includes a range of stunning 2D and 3D work in a variety of scales, from jewellery to sculpture. Using this simple plastic construction block as their starting point, each artist has created striking, thought provoking and often humorous artworks which will appeal to art enthusiasts and LEGO® fans alike."

Featuring the work of 17 different artists, photographers, and designers, the exhibit will be running for just over four months until September 11th, 2022.

Throughout the months of June, July, and August, LEGO centered events will take place of all sorts of varieties including building challenges, artwork workshops, and a talk from one of the exhibits artists Hannah Gibson all free of charge though booking is required.

We hope you will come check it out and stay at one of our many comfortable rental properties just down the road from the gallery!
