Multiple areas throughout Hull City Centre are going to be seeing renovations clearing unnecessary street furniture and repaving the footpaths. According to a report from the council, The £4.4m project will span across Princes Dock Street, Humber Dock Street and part of High Street and intends to create high quality public spaces between the Old Town and Hull Marina and is only one of many currently underway in the city.
The Hull Maritime Museum is currently undergoing massive renovations set to be completed in 2025, we have a full article documenting that here:
As well as a £355m Castle Street improvement scheme on the A63 to repair the extremely popular road's severe pothole issue that isn't slated to be finished until 2024-2025.
A £7.6m renovation project is also happening on Albion Street and is set to convert the Vinci building into modern homes, retail and leisure units, office space and a “stunning” new urban park.
Hull is a bustling city constantly evolving to the needs of the modern people. As much as none of us like those bright orange walls, these works will greatly improve our home in the long run and keep us at the top.
